Set yourself apart in the beauty industry with a medical aesthetics education. Florida Institute of Beauty is a one-of-a-kind school in Florida. We give our graduates the training they need to fast-track their professional advancement and obtain all of the necessary skills at our aesthetician school.

FACIAL SPECIALIST

The Facial Specialist Program aims to prepare students for licensure and entry-level positions in the Medspa environment. The program is focused on teaching broad, transferable skills related to facials and skincare. Students will be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the basics of skincare, including hair removal and makeup. Upon completion of the program, students will have completed 260 hours, exceeding Florida state’s 220-hour requirement for licensure.

ADVANCED ESTHETICS

The Advanced Esthetics Program aims to prepare students for licensure in the Medspa environment. The Advanced Esthetics Program is focused on teaching broad, transferable skills. It stresses understanding and demonstrating the advanced elements of skin care. Upon completion of the program, students will have completed 450 clock hours. They will have met the criteria to apply for state licensure for Advanced Esthetics and will be able to demonstrate advanced skin knowledge and perform facial services on all skin types.

MEDICAL AESTHETICIAN

The Medical Aesthetician program is a comprehensive field that combines Facial/Skin Care with Electrolysis and Laser Hair Removal training to provide graduates with the best opportunities in the job market. Electrolysis, Laser Hair Removal, and Facials are often combined in the beauty and health industry; therefore, the graduate Medical Aesthetician student will be able to present to future employers a solid and thorough knowledge of every aspect of the industry.

LASER HAIR & ELECTROLYSIS

The electrolysis Diploma meets all State of Florida requirements. Those who successfully complete the 320 clock hours of theoretical and practical training in laser hair removal courses will be awarded an Electrolysis Diploma that allows them to sit for the IBEC licensing exam. Upon successful completion of the IBEC exam, the student will be a licensed Electrologist and Certified Laser hair removal Technician.
